Trick or Treat

Clark and I aren't into Halloween... we haven't celebrated it or dressed up for it since we've known each other. I'm looking forward to next year, because we'll have a little man to focus on and dress up.

So, last night we were bored... just sitting around waiting for our trick or treaters to show up. We wondered if any would actually ring the bell. Our neighborhood has really big lots, so it takes a lot of effort for the kids to make it from house to house. But, finally the doorbell rang and all three of us went to the door (yes, that includes Remy with her orange and black bows) and standing there was a cute little chef, some scary looking monster and a third little girl. She was all dressed up with long hair, but her face was painted white. I couldn't figure out what she was, so I asked.... and, the answer disturbed me. She said she was Dead Hannah Montana. Seriously, Dead Hannah Montana. Looking back on it now, I still don't get it. I guess she wanted to be "dressed up" cute, but also wanted something gothic and scary, so killing off the teen sensation was the best way to do it.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but my favorite costumes of the night were Indiana Jones, Snow White and a precious little Care Bear.

Poor Baby Boy Wood, I guess next year he will have to be something very sweet and cuddly... nothing too harsh or he'll scare his mommy!
