Nostalgia

It shocks me to say this, but it's been 20 years since I was a Zeta at TCU.  Actually, more than 20 years.  But, hey... we still have fun.  Just like we did in the 90s! Ha.

Our most recent get together... a Dixie Chicks concert!  Their first album was a huge part of our college soundtrack.  We all went to see them several times and they always put on a great show.  The best part of their comeback... a show in The Woodlands!  Which meant the girls came to Conroe!

We had some fun in the pool....

And, then went to dinner and the show!

We always have a ball together.  Especially with our fun "old" music at the heart of our weekend!

Another bonus of our weekend.....

Clark got to go fishing with his best buds!  I LOVE that we had a great weekend... reliving memories, telling stories and being with our amazing friends!

Golden Globes

My mom has a Golden Globe party every year.  It is really fun!!!!  We get to bet on who we think will win the awards and drink champagne!  It is a unique party, because it's "multigenerational".  Several moms and daughters!!

And, I got to hang out with two of my favorites…. Debra and Sarah:

And, here's me and mom:

Everyone enjoyed the show and talking about all the fashion and which celebrity looked good or bad.

Here's the whole crew:

It was a great party and tons of fun.  What a fabulous tradition!

Nordstrom is HERE!

Woohoo!  We not have a Nordstrom at the Woodlands Mall.  SOOOO needed.  I have worn the same brand of makeup for 13 years.  I usually make two trips to the Galleria a year… just for makeup.  I was very, very excited to see that Trish McEvoy counter at our new Nordsrom!

Two days before the store officially opened, there was a gala benefitting Texas Children's.  So, a group of us got dressed up and took off to shop!

So fun to have a cocktail while shopping!

We spent a lot of time in the shoe department….

More fun pics….

As you can tell, Bunny, Debra and I all ended up with some shopping bags!

Such a fun night!  Surprisingly enough, I haven't been back.  Soon.  I will be back in that lovely store soon!
