The Lucky Rep

For more than three years I've been peddling birth control pills. Basically, I spend my days going into OB/Gyn offices to tell the docs and nurses about my two pills. OB/Gyns are great, most of them are very happy people, so I usually have very good days. And, since I got pregnant, I have even better days.

I have several books about pregnancy... the week by week book and, of course, What to Expect When Your Expecting, so I have been reading and learning, BUT the best resource I have... all the docs! You see, any question I have, I can ask one doctor after the next. It's great! And, my actual doctor... I see her once a week to drop off samples. I keep thinking I'm an annoying patient, because I always have new questions, but they always have answers for me. So, I know I'm really lucky.

Another reason I'm lucky... ultrasounds! Most pregnant women get a look at their baby 3 or 4 times during pregnancy. I get to see our little man a lot more than that. My office has done about 4 ultrasounds so far, but I have another office that takes great care of me. They have a full time ultrasound tech that has down time, so if she isn't busy, she sneaks me back and I get to check out Baby Boy Wood! I love it.

I saw him today... he's right on schedule! He weighs about 2 pounds, 5 ounces! I can't believe how fast he is growing. And, I can't believe how soon he'll be here. I noticed the stork on the blog is telling me that he'll be here in less than 100 days! Crazy how time is flying!

I'm just so lucky to be reassured every single day and to get to see our little baby so often!
