Back to the Zoo

Walker and Everly loved the zoo when we went back in March.... so we decided to go back!  This time we took Daddy!

They really are monkeys!

Love this pose!

Have to go on the carousel!

Walker's impersonation of the giraffe's purple tongue!

Yes, feeding the giraffes was a huge hit, again!

I seriously love her joy in this pic!

It was a great day to begin the long holiday weekend.  Extra long for Clark.  I somehow convinced him to take Friday and Tuesday off, so he got FIVE whole days away from work!  It was relaxing, fun and much needed!

So excited for more fun times this summer!

Spring Pictures

Sometimes things get by me.... time goes by and I realize I didn't post something!  Yes, we had some professional pictures done back in April.... here they are!

First Swim

Finally, we hit the pool!!!

Such cute little swimmers!  I am already so excited about a whole summer in the pool.  They are both making progress with their swimming.  I have high hopes of two official swimmers by August!

2nd Annual Snowman Classic

Wow, another year has come and gone.  Time goes by so fast.  On what would have been Googie's 41st birthday, we celebrated.  In a big way.

Blaine has done an amazing job with the Snowman Classic.... year two was just as fabulous as year one.  I'm so impressed.

I love to see all those golfers out there.... honoring Googie and Trisha and supporting their kids.  Powerful.

Here comes the photo dump!

Go RayRay!

Dad and his team.

Clark's excellent drive.  I was told that I was a good luck charm!

Googie's buddy from Baylor wore these shoes.  Googie would have loved them!

Blaine, totally relaxed!  He did an amazing job.

Love these Lukfin boys!  They are such good friends to me and Clark.

Blaine being silly with the girls!

Bunny taking Carson and Ryder for a ride!

It's not just the guys who are great friends.  So glad all the girls could come, too!

The winners!  So glad family members won!  Way to go Mark and John!

Beth Ann is seriously the funniest person I know.  I had a ball with her.

I love this picture... Blaine with the Snow kids.

Lots and lots of money was raised for those kids.  It is so wonderful to see so many people support them.

Happy Birthday Googie.

And, a BIG thank you to Nanna and Bubba.  They came to Conroe to take care of our babes.  What a wonderful blessing to know they are being well taken care of, while we get to enjoy the Snowman Classic.  A great weekend!

Bugs Bugs Bugs

St. James does an adorable Spring Show. This year it was Bugs Bugs Bugs.

Yes, we had a little caterpillar and a little bumble bee!

They both did a fantastic job of singing!

We were both very proud of both of them!

Here they are with their music teacher, Ms. Mary Kay.

And, Everly with Ms. Robin.

And, Ms. Janet.

They've had a wonderful year at St. James.... I can't believe this school year is almost over.  Time flies when you're having fun!

Meanie Pants

Everly has a new name.  She is Meanie Pants.  It just fits her so perfectly.

So, since she officially has that name, it is very important to point out when she's NOT being a Meanie Pants.

Oh my, so sweet!  Seriously, I know that Meanie Pants sounds like a "mean" name, but it's not.  It's just a good descriptive name that comes from her strong will.  But, obviously, that strong will has a very sweet and tender side!

I wouldn't change a thing about her!

Season One - Done

Walker has officially finished his first season of T-ball!  It was so fun!  He continued to improve and I think he had a great time.

I'm sad it's over!  Although, now it's time to start thinking about what's next.  Maybe soccer in the fall.  And, then there's Everly.... we have to decide between gymnastics and dance!  Goodness, I'm tired just thinking about it.

Big Boy Baseball

We are very proud of Walker's first BASEball (he doesn't like us to call it Tball) season.  And, we are very excited that it sparked an interest in watching the big boys play!

Last weekend we took the kids to the see the Astros!

It was a perfect Sunday.  Sunny and not too hot.  The best part of baseball?  Sweet treats.

Oh my goodness.... these two can down some cotton candy!  They love it.

But, Everly needed a little help with her sticky fingers....

So cute.

And, we didn't' even give the cotton candy a chance to settle before moving on to ice cream!

Yum.

So, we can't watch the Astros on tv, because Direct TV doesn't carry them.  And, we rarely watch local news, so it was quite a shock to find out that the Astros aren't red and black anymore.  They are orange and blue.  Another reason we didn't know.... the Astros are really terrible.  Makes me sad, because it really would be fun to follow a good team.  Guess we'll stick with the Rangers!
