Christmas at the Farm

We woke up Christmas morning and Santa had left his mark.  So much stuff!

Walker was quite thrilled to see a basketball goal in the driveway!

After a super fun Christmas morning, it was time to go to the farm!!!!!  More presents!

Cuties in their new pjs.

So, check this out….. FOUR dogs.  We have have Elsa and Anna, the Moores have Chewy and Nanna and Bubba have Buddy!

Elsa and Anna are loving farm life! (so are Walker and Everly!)

Everyone loves having fun at the farm.  Lots of fun cousins and fun activities!

Fun With Cousins

It's always special to spend time with Ryder and Savannah.  Especially at Christmas time!  They both came to stay with us and we kicked off our trip with a little bowling!

How cute are these four!

Master bowlers!

Then, when we got home, we decided to introduce Walker to the original Star Wars….

He's officially hooked.  So cool that he can like something that we liked growing up! His sister, on the other hand, not so into it…..

She tried, but fell asleep.  That meant she got good rest… bright eyed and bushy tailed the next morning!

Which is a good thing, because it was time for some presents!

Everyone seemed very happy with all their goodies.  Walker is a lego master and Everly loves her new dollhouse.

Nothing better than Christmas with family!

Making a Swish

South Grand Prairie High School did something really amazing to celebrate Carson's life.  They held a charity basketball game and all the donations and proceeds were donated to Make a Wish in Carson's memory.  Almost five thousand dollars!!!!!

I'm very happy that the kids and I were able to make it to the game.  Pretty special.

Walker and Everly were so excited to see Ryder!

The student council presented us the grand total!

The cousins.

After the game, we got to bring Ryder home with us to celebrate Christmas  It was a great day!!!

Carson

It is truly unbelievable that I am writing this post.  Doesn't seem possible that Savannah and Ryder have suffered another unimaginable loss.  But, unfortunately it's true.  We lost our sweet Carson.  She is whole again with Jesus and her Mama and Daddy.  I could say so much more, but I will leave it at this…. I am at peace that she is SEEing for the first time… seeing heaven.  Seeing Jesus.  Seeing Googie and Trisha.  What a reunion it was!

I do want to share some of my favorite pictures.  First, she had an absolute ball at our wedding.  She was a dancing fool…. love all these pics:

And, Carson loved her cousins.  She was always so good with Walker and Everly….

This was the last time we got to spend real quality time with Carson.  No only did she love my kids, she loved my dogs, too.  Glad to have this pic of all of them with Bunny and RayRay:

I loved taking pictures of Carson with my kids…. I rarely included me! So glad to have one with just the two of us.  It was so exciting when she was on homecoming court last year!

We will forever miss you, Carson.

A Special Birthday

Today is Ryder's 11th birthday!  Wow!  We are so excited that we got to celebrate with him while were at the beach.

We went to the Rainforest Cafe and he got the fancy volcano dessert!

It was a fun night:

A yummy dinner followed by mini golf!

It's really fun to get to spend some good quality time with Ryder!

I'm so thankful that the whole Wood family welcomed Ryder with open arms and treated him as one of their own.  It was super fun to have him, not only with Walker and Everly, but all the cousins.  I think everyone had a blast!!

**side note - I've back dated several blog posts from our beach vacation, so they are now below the post I wrote a few days ago!  Finally…. caught up!

The Beach!

Oh my…. we have SO many pictures from the beach.  I don't even know where to start!  So, I'll break it up!

We went and picked Ryder up and and spent four days with all of Clark's family.  So much fun!  We had two condos and really had a nice time.

Just enough room for three kids and all the gear!

Wow, did my kids take to boogie boarding!  They loved it.

And, they had a great time playing in the sand!

And, Everly and Nanna were always on the hunt for seashells!

More fun pictures…

And, a favorite of mine!  Precious babes:

Every kid needs their name in the sand!

More fun beach pictures to come!
