Everly's First Movie

Everly has had a lot of "firsts" lately.  This weekend she got to go to her first movie.

She's always loved Monsters, Inc, so how perfect that Monsters University would be her first big movie!  I love that Ryder got to go with us.

(she's saying "cheese" in this pic... not crying.  I promise!)

In typical fashion... Everly acted exactly the opposite from her brother.  His first movie, he sat still and watched every minute.  Everly was more active... up and down and not totally into the entire movie.  But, overall it was a great success and I think she enjoyed it.

I'm glad they had a life size Mike and Sully so we could get fun pictures!

Seriously, this makes me laugh.....

I told Walker we needed to take it again, but Clark said, no... he looks like Mike!  ha!

It was a fun evening and a perfect way for Everly to get her first movie theater experience.  On a side note.... WOW, movies are expensive.  Seriously, I'm glad we only go once a year!

Fun with Cousins!

We love it when Ryder and Carson come to visit!!!!  Walker and Everly really, really like hanging out with them.

Especially in the pool!

(oh my goodness, how big do they all look?!?!?)

I LOVE this picture.... Bunny with four of her grandbabes.

One day, Ryder, Walker and Everly were all at camp, so Carson got some funny shopping/lunch time. We met up with Debra at the mall!

It was a great week with some fun cousins.

Happy Birthday Everly

How in the world is my little baby three??!?!  Doesn't seem possible!  But, it is.  I say this all the time.... time flies!

Everly got to open a few presents from Mommy and Daddy before her party!

She was so excited to dress up for her princess party!

I thought she'd be more exited about her Cinderella cake....  she liked it, but most importantly, liked blowing out the candles.

And, eating yummy cupcakes...

Then she got to open more presents!

And, I was able to snap a pic of her cute little friends.... too bad her brother was the only one that wouldn't smile!

It was a great birthday party.  All her grandparents and a few friends.  A perfect day!
Happy Birthday to Everly!

Everly Builds a Bear

I guess it's a tradition... if you turn three, Bunny takes you to Build a Bear!  Good thing Everly turned three!

Every was very excited to pick her bear.  A pink bear... no surprise there, it's her favorite color.

Walker was so sweet and so excited to help her.... not one time did he ask for a bear.  He knew this was a special trip for Everly.  They both gave the bear a bath....

And, Everly and Bunny put on it's new clothes!

Everly's new friend is Rainbow.... a perfect new bear for a 3-year old!  After Build a Bear, we had to take a spin on the carousel....

And, then I got to snap this "too cute for words" picture...

Oh my goodness, this warms my heart.  What a fun day!  Thanks Bunny.

Take Me to the River

It just wouldn't be June without a post about my annual Zeta girls' trip!  This year we went to Wimberly.  It was great.  We had a connection to a house on the river.    Although, I have to say.... we could be in the desert, snow, or jungle.... all we need is a room to talk!

We did go shopping both Saturday and Sunday, but other than that, we sat on the couch and laughed... a lot.

There's this great app called Heads Up.  Ellen created the game and it is great fun.  I am truly not exaggerating.... we played that game for six or seven hours.  It was an addiction.  And, the more adult beverages we had, the funnier it got!  It was a great time.  There's nothing better than laughing with great friends.

Unfortunately, I didn't end up with many pictures.  I'm shocked that we actually took these two:

I'm so glad we snapped these when we did.... not long after this, a big ole snake swam right in front of us!  Yikes!  But, it was good timing.  We needed to play some more Heads Up!

I'm very thankful that Clark is so supportive of me spending time with my girlfriends.  He took the kids to the farm and I think they had a great time, too!

Can't wait until next year!

End of School

I can't believe another year of preschool has come and gone!

Walker had another great year and Everly had a good first year.  Amazing, in fact.  I'm so proud of both of them!

Their last day was a splash day!

They had a ball!  And, here's a picture of Walker with Ms. Ellie.

The kids are going to a new preschool next year.... so this was the end of St. James.  I'm sad that it's over, but it was a wonderful experience!

Here's to a fun summer!

Bunny's Birthday!

Walker and Everly are big fans of birthdays.  So when I told them that Bunny was coming over to celebrate her birthday, they were thrilled!  They got to go to HEB and get balloons and pick out a cake!

Of course she had lots of help with the candles!

Kids make everything so much more fun!
