Happy Halloween!

Walker got to be Batman a little early.  Here Batman is on his way to fictional character day at school. 

We felt very safe on the way!

Then it was Everly's turn to be a superhero!  Wonder Woman at school!

After school, she decided to switch costumes and turn into Princess Anna for dance:

And, finally time to trick or treat!

We had such a blast with tons of neighborhood families.  Trailers were ready to take these kids for their big candy haul!

I didn't get a good family picture, but I matched this little wonder woman….

And, Daddy matched Batman….

It was a great Halloween!

Kindergarten Field Trip

Everly has been so excited about her kindergarten field trip to P6 Farms!

It was a great day with great kids.  Everly is really growing up.  It's so fun to watch!

Christian Heritage Day

We are LOVING Covenant.  Walker is learning so much and we love that everything comes back to Jesus.

I wasn't familiar with Christian Heritage Day, but it is a big deal at Covenant.  It was a great morning celebrating our country and the fact that we can freely worship!  The first graders are pilgrims:

After the program with all the kiddos, we went to Walker's classroom where he read his report.

All the kids researched a specific person who arrived on the Mayflower!

I was very proud of this precious pilgrim!!!

The list of reasons of why we love Covenant is growing!

Donuts With Dad

This school year has been so different.  From Walker's longer days and longer week to Everly being alone at PDS.  I think the separation has been good for the kids.  Because this girl sure did feel special to get her daddy all to herself for Donuts With Dad!

At first she kept asking why Walker was at a different school.  I think she has figured out that it's pretty cool to have your own special place!!!

I'm not sure how I ended up with such sweet snuggles from both of them at the same time, but I enjoyed every second.  I told them that they both used to fit on me when they were babies, but they didn't believe me.  I'll take the snuggles however I can get them!!!!
