Blainer

We had a very special treat last week.  Blaine came to visit!  It was really fun having him in our home.  Honestly, it's very surprising that he hadn't ever been here.  He is family, after all!

While he was here, he requested a dinner party.  Blaine was a guest at many a dinner party at 1405 Egyptian Way in GP.  Mom and Ray gave fabulous parties and we always had a great time.

Ask and you shall receive!

It wasn't a fancy meal, but we had a great time.  I love that mom gave me her dining furniture.... that table has heard some stories through the years!!!!!  And, I'm thrilled to continue the "dinner party" tradition.

I'm not sure how this happened, but I didn't get any pictures of my kids with Blaine!  Silly mommy.  Blaine kept saying, "he looks just like Chris" about Walker.  I take that as a wonderful compliment!  He's the same age that Blaine and Googie were when they met.

So, you see, Blaine really is a part of our family.  Googie was with him when I was being born.  And, their friendship continued for the rest of his life.  Blaine continues to support and care for all the Snows.  His efforts with the Snowman Classic are unbelievable.  

Blaine was always a second big brother to me, and that special relationship continues.  I am honored that he calls me his little sister.
