Another reason for our trip to Austin.... to learn to use a handgun.  Yes, you read that right.  Mom and I really want to get a concealed handgun license, and in order to do that, you have to shoot a gun!

Enter Frosty.  He's a gun enthusiast and it turns out, he's a fantastic teacher.  Seriously, he should do it for a living.

He took mom shooting, and then he took me.  He was informative, patient and a confidence builder.

Walking into the range and going to a stall is very intimidating.  The firing of those guns goes right through you.... you feel it to the core.  Very hard to get used to.  The entire time I kept jumping and flinching.  Did I mention that Frosty was patient?

I learned a lot in a short time.  I'm no pro, but I do plan to buy a gun (Mom already bought hers!!!!) and feel confident that I can handle it.  Looking forward to shooting again soon!!!
