Is That a Salad in Your Bra?

So, go ahead and file this blog under "Did I really need to know that?". I couldn't decide if I should even bring this topic up because it's so bizarre, but it's because it's so bizarre that I feel I should blog.

I have a salad in my bra. Well, not exactly a salad. Unless you consider green cabbage a salad.

There are so many things about pregnancy and motherhood that you don't really expect. Strange things start happening, but somehow you just roll with it. But, I'm having a hard time "rolling with" trying to dry up my milk.

Here's the deal... Walker is taking his formula so well, that we are done breastfeeding. While it's a very liberating feeling for me(can someone pass the champagne), it is also VERY painful.

Nobody told me how painful it would be. So, what can you do to ease the discomfort, you ask? Put some cold green cabbage in your bra, of course! Who knows why, but this is supposed to help. I will admit, when it's nice and cold it really does feel better, but I would think an ice pack would do the same thing. But, an ice pack isn't near as fun as pulling cabbage leaves off and figuring out how to place them!

Wow. I'm sure none of you will look at me the same again.
