Mother's Day

I got to have several special "Mother's Days"!!!  It started on Wednesday.  My sweet little kindergardener invited me to a very special luncheon.  Oh, was it precious!!!!  Seriously, sweet.  I was caught off guard and even shed a few tears!

Walker was so proud to give me my card and he led me by the hand to the table.  They performed some adorable songs and we all ate lunch.  And, after, each child said why they loved their mom.  Walker said he loved me because I always give him hugs.  Awwwww!

PDS does such a wonderful job…. not only for our kids, but for the mommas, as well!

I love all these precious gifts!

Here are most of the boys with their mamas!

I love this one:
Walker and Hudson are such good friends, so that makes me and Christina friends, too!

The next day, Everly showered me with special cards and presents:

I LOVE my new personalized vase!

I'm very proud of Walker… he addressed Nanna's card, all by himself!

Today was a great day.  Bunny and RayRay came to church with us and we had a yummy lunch.  Crossroads had a fun Mother's Day picture backdrop!

I loved having my mom with us today!  She's the best mom and Bunny!

Being Walker and Everly's mom brings me the greatest joy.  I don't even have words for how much I love them.  Forever grateful that God chose me for them!!!!!

Last Tball Game

I have to say, I'm little sad that tball is over!  It was such a fun season.  Walker loved it and got so much better!!!!

Here are some great shots from Hudson's mom:

Oh my, I am so happy she got this one:

This was right after Walker got an out!  He was so thrilled and proud of himself.  And, the best part…We ALL got to see this one.  He was playing "center"…. fielded the ball and ran to second and beat the runner for the out!  So exciting!

Such a precious number 9!

Walker and Daddy:

Everly and sweet Caitlin:

The season was all about the outs, but Walker also improved his hitting.  And, learned that you have to run fast around the bases!

Coming into home!

It was so exciting to win our last game!  The Dodgers only lost one game and finished tied for first.  What a great season.  I hope Walker continues to love baseball, because it's fun to watch!!!!!

Farm Trip

I love getting together with my best pals, Maren and Tracy.  So, they came to town and Clark took the kids to the farm!  Here's what's hilarious, the girls and I didn't take any pictures, but I got some great ones texted to me of the fun they were having at the farm!

It's so great that Clark didn't mind taking them to the farm and giving me some time with Maren and Tracy.  And, of course, the kids were over the moon….. the farm is their happy place!!!!!

Maren, Trace and I had a blast… talking about old times, looking at old pictures, taking a nap while watching Moulin Rouge and playing  a little blackjack! ha.  This fall marks the 20 year anniversary of us pledging Zeta together.  I love that we have 20 years of memories, and continue to have the best time together!

Little Red Hen

I'm loving the confidence that Walker has learned in kindergarden!  All the plays have helped.  This time, he was a cow in the Little Red Hen!

Seriously, so cute:

With his best bud, Hudson:

And, the amazing Mrs. Fox:

And, he saved one smile for mommy!

All the little cuties!

They did an outstanding job.  Such precious little six-year olds!

TBall Update

Walker had quite the fan club at his last Saturday game.  Nanna, Bubba, Bunny, RayRay and Everly were all there to cheer him on!

And, the amazing Mrs. Fox came…. it was perfect for her, because three of her boys were playing in the same game.  Walker and Husdon for the Dodgers and Austin for the Reds!

The Dodgers came away with another win that day and continue to stay in first place!  So much fun!

Yesterday, Hudson came home from school with us.  He and Walker got to play and then we were off to yet another game!  Carpool mom in full effect!

We stopped at McDonalds for a quick dinner.  Cute buddies!

And, the Dodgers won again!  And, the best part…. Walker got his first OUT!!!  Clark was out of town and Everly HAD to go potty, so we all missed it!  Can you even believe that??!?!  But, we got a full report of what happened.  Walker was playing short stop, fielded the ball and tagged the guy going from second to third.  He almost did the same thing two more times.  It has been so fun watching these boys understand the game more and more.  Still in first place with three games to go! Go Dodgers!

This & That

Somehow, I missed the 100th day of school post!  Walker had to bring something with 100 pieces.  I was on Pinterest, looking up cute ideas.  Then, I came up with the excellent idea of ASKING Walker what he would like to take.  His response, "Mommy, I'm going to make something really cool with EXACTLY 100 legos…. I already told Mrs. Fox." Okay, remember, ask the kid first!  Sometimes we make things more difficult than it needs to be!

So, here's the masterpiece:

PDS always has great activities…. they had western WEEK.  They were thrilled to wear their hats everyday:

Mrs. Fox is awesome about giving rewards for doing well in school.  The FREE Chiller Bee is such a treat.  This week, Walker earned one by getting a 100 on his sight word test!!!!  I cannot believe how much he has learned this year!

Everly is a big fan of Walker's rewards…. it means she gets frozen yogurt, too!

The good news, she'll make it up to him next year when she has Mrs. Fox!

And, couple more "just because" pictures….  Elsa loves any laundry basket!

And, Everly is now a fan of "selfies"…

Little cutie!

Easter Morning

We spent the night at Bunny and RayRays for Easter.  Thankfully, the Easter Bunny found the kids!  They thought it was pretty cool that he knew where they were.

After playing with some fun, new stuff, we got all dolled up for church.

Here comes the picture overload!

I LOVE them all!  I've always known it, but turquoise IS Everly's COLOR!  (insert Julia Roberts from Steel Magnolias, "pink is my signature color".)  She looks so beautiful in that color.  And, Walker always looks so handsome! I just love the bright, springy colors.

Great pictures, followed by an amazing church service.  Walker got to go to big church.  He did absolutely fabulous.  Mommy and Daddy are happy to report that he was very interested in the baptisms.  Love when things like that lead to important conversations about Jesus!!  A perfect Easter!
