Go Texan Day!
Walker's school celebrated Go Texan Day on Thursday and Walker got to wear BOOTS!

He was a little confused at first and had a hard time walking in them, but it didn't take long to get used to it!
The bad news... he just didn't feel good that day. Not surprising. We found out the next morning that he has a double ear infection! Yuck. The Wood house turned back into the sick house. Mommy and Daddy both ended up at the doctor, too. The diagnosis, sinus infections. My second one in three weeks. We are all sick of being sick!

Sunshine and Puppy
FINALLY! The Wood house seems to be BACK! It isn't cold outside. Everyone is HEALTHY. It's Saturday and Clark is NOT at work! Whew!
Now on to fun blogging... with pictures!
Bunny and RayRay got a new puppy. She's a mini goldendoodle named Gabby. She's super sweet.
Both my babes are getting used to her....

Walker really enjoyed playing outside with Gabby... he thinks it's pretty funny when she falls down!
I caught a quick pose in between playing ball....

Did I mention that it's warm and sunshiney outside?? We loved soaking up some Vitamin D.

Check out this beautiful girl.

I love this picture... I think her new nickname is bright eyes!

Happy Valentine's Day?
So, I don't mean to sound whiny or negative, but today just didn't turn out quite how I expected. Here's the deal... I didn't expect a big, romantic evening... Clark and I already had a plan to celebrate this weekend, AFTER he is done with his quarterly meeting.
But, I did expect to have a good, four-hour time alone. You know why??? Because we have a new, WONDERFUL babysitter. Miss Gayle is coming to see us every Monday. I was really excited about her first visit today. I had big plans for myself. Nail appointment, a little shopping, relaxing... NOT having to hurry home.
Hmm, didn't exactly go like that.
Gayle arrived just as I took Everly's temperature. It was 103.5. Ugh!! My poor baby was really sick. So, I put a call into the doctor, but Gayle convinced me to get out for a little while... which I did. She held down the fort beautifully and made me feel comfortable... even with a sick baby. I did finally get Everly into the doctor... she has RSV. No fun. The good news, she responded to a breathing treatment, so the doctor thinks she should get better pretty quick. I sure hope so... I hate having a sick baby.
That was my Valentine's Day. Like I said, not complaining... just relaying a story.
Guess what I wanted to put on here for Valentine's Day... pictures of my darling Valentines... I can still do that, even if one of them is sick.

Like I said, I can't wait for my whole family to be well... oh, and for Clark to be done with year-end. I've missed my husband lately... too many working weekends and late nights.
High hopes for this weekend!

The Sick House
Wow, I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I last blogged. Sorry about that. We've had a string of sickness in the Wood house. First it was Walker, then it was Mommy, then it was Everly. Thankfully, Daddy has stayed well and everyone else is healthy again!
Here's the boring part... sickness means no new exciting things. I seriously need to think of something witty or clever to blog about, but I'm coming up short. I promise to get the camera back out and document some cute things from my kids!
In the meantime, here's a sweet picture of Everly from before the sickness hit!
