Happy Valentine's Day?

So, I don't mean to sound whiny or negative, but today just didn't turn out quite how I expected. Here's the deal... I didn't expect a big, romantic evening... Clark and I already had a plan to celebrate this weekend, AFTER he is done with his quarterly meeting.

But, I did expect to have a good, four-hour time alone. You know why??? Because we have a new, WONDERFUL babysitter. Miss Gayle is coming to see us every Monday. I was really excited about her first visit today. I had big plans for myself. Nail appointment, a little shopping, relaxing... NOT having to hurry home.

Hmm, didn't exactly go like that.

Gayle arrived just as I took Everly's temperature. It was 103.5. Ugh!! My poor baby was really sick. So, I put a call into the doctor, but Gayle convinced me to get out for a little while... which I did. She held down the fort beautifully and made me feel comfortable... even with a sick baby. I did finally get Everly into the doctor... she has RSV. No fun. The good news, she responded to a breathing treatment, so the doctor thinks she should get better pretty quick. I sure hope so... I hate having a sick baby.

That was my Valentine's Day. Like I said, not complaining... just relaying a story.

Guess what I wanted to put on here for Valentine's Day... pictures of my darling Valentines... I can still do that, even if one of them is sick.







Like I said, I can't wait for my whole family to be well... oh, and for Clark to be done with year-end. I've missed my husband lately... too many working weekends and late nights.
