We Love Jimmy!

We woke up on Monday ready for our date with Jimmy.  Ha.  We decided to go check out Rockefeller Plaza and see if we could see Matt and Savannah.  We did!  (no, they're not in this pic)

And, Maren was over the moon because she saw Mindy Kaling.  Turns out Maren LOVES Mindy and she was cohosting that morning! It was really fun to see all the action.

Then we walked around and stopped in St. Patrick's Cathedral.

So beautiful!  And, just a couple of weeks later, the pope was there!  Wow!

Then Maren and I did a little shopping.  But, then it was time to get ready for the Tonight Show!

Mom wanted her picture with a firefighter, but settled for a cop!

Here's the deal about the Tonight Show.  It was awesome.  So fun.  So funny.  Totally entertaining.  But, we have no proof.  They threaten you with you life if you pull out your phone or a camera.  So, this is us… after:

Jimmy was as adorable as we thought he'd be.  He seems so genuine and grateful.  I loved it!

After, it was time for champagne!

Then we went for a classic, italian, New York dinner.  We got picture happy:

That picture cracks me up.  I love it.  It was an amazingly fun trip.  We loved everything that we did and we all had a blast together.  I said it before, but I am a lucky girl.  And, I'm thankful.  For a best friend who has the best laugh.  For a mom who is more fun than most people I know.  For a patient husband who is up for adventure. And, for amazing grandparents who made it all possible.
