Mud Run

I don't like mud.  I don't like to be dirty.  I don't like to run.  How in the world did I get roped into doing a MUD RUN?  I'm still not sure, but it was because of some fun friends.

We took off to College Station one Saturday morning and ran through the mud for three miles.  The good news, we laughed a lot.  And, you are about to, too.  Because, these pics are funny.

Here's our awesome group, the Prize Runners, before the race.  (And, still clean!)

After several crawls in the mud, running up a steep hill, running some stairs, it was time for a fun slide!
Here I am hitting the mud:

And, here I am right after:

And, right before the finish line, one more mud pit:

And, all of us heading toward the finish line!

And, these are our "after" pictures:

I'm not sure if I would do this again, but I might!  It was a fun time and it was fun to push myself.  Since I've been crossfitting,  I seem to push myself a lot more.  I like it.  Makes me feel accomplished.  A year ago, I probably wouldn't have attempted this.  I'm proud to say I finished it!
