Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is very different than is used to be!  Not sure if this a bad thing or not, but it's more for our kids these days than it is for Clark and me.  But, hey, that's okay!  They love it.

They both had parties at school.  I'm very proud of my boy.  He addressed and signed 12 cards for his friends!  I loved watching him get excited to pick out each little card and ask me how to spell every name.  He did a fantastic job.

This year was very special because they got lots of mail!  Nanna and Bubba and Pepaw and Maggie sent Valentines in the mail.  They both thought it was so special!

These packages from the farm came on the 13th.  They couldn't wait to open!

They loved their candy and cards.

I think this picture is too fun:

The kids like "selflies", because they can see themselves.  I just decided I wanted to be in with them.  Precious smiles!

Then we were off to Crossroads for a fun SNOW day.

They had a ball playing in the snow.

But, I've got to tell you…. it had been awhile since Walker had been to one of the preschool events.  It totally freaked me out that he was the biggest kid out there!!!!  He's the bigger and older one now.  Wow, time has gone fast!

Walker had his first Tball practice that night:

He did great!  It's going to be a really fun season.  He actually knows a couple of the boys on his team, so he's super excited to get out there!!!!

And, when we got home from practice, Daddy had a special surprise for his little girl:

I love that she felt sooooo special and couldn't wait to get that flower in her room!!!!

Like I said, things are a bit different these days.  But, I wouldn't change it.  It was a great V day!
