Can Someone Please Pass Me a Kleenex

I have a very official statement to make:

The "baby blues" really suck!

For the men out there that know nothing about the raging hormones in a pregnant or just recently not pregnant woman, the post birth hormones are insane. They make me cry for no reason at all. Yep, the other morning I walked out of our bedroom, sat down and started crying. Clark asked what I had been doing... my answer... brushing my teeth. Like I said, no reason at all.

So, it's really bad when there's actually a reason to cry. Oh yes, waterworks that won't stop.

Let me give you an update on the last 24 hours... (seriously, I wrote a blog about this time yesterday about how great we were all doing). Walker got a "croupy" cough. Yep, croup... again. With a one-week old infant in the house. Yikes! I was able to get him into the pediatrician and he got medicine and is fine. I don't even know that he felt bad at all. But, there's a kicker. The doc said it was really important to keep Walker separated from Everly.

So, we sent Walker to Bunny and RayRay's... seriously, can someone pass me a kleenex? Total meltdown. I had to send my sweet baby boy away!!

I had the baby blues after Walker was born and they lasted one week. Yesterday Everly was one week old and I thought I was in the clear. Yeah, right.

So, I'm counting down the hours until Walker won't be contagious anymore and I can have my family back in one place. Maybe I'll shed a few joyful tears, then be done with the waterworks.
