First ER Visit

Ugh... we had to take Walker to the ER this weekend. I feel pretty good that he's 14-months old and this was the first time, but I could have done without it!

Long story short... Walker has croup! He was perfectly fine ALL day Saturday, then right before bed he start wheezing, coughing and it seemed that he was having trouble breathing. So, we went to the ER... he had a breathing treatment, a steroid shot and some x-rays and then they sent us on our way. He slept all night and has felt much better today.

Why does this stuff only happen when the pediatrician is closed?!?!

Bottom line, we probably didn't need to make the trip to the ER, but I'm so glad we did. Having the doctor explain what was going on made us feel much better.

We'll go see his doctor tomorrow to follow up... Hopefully the end of the croup is near!
