I realize that things have changed because our home has changed. We don't have a bunch of guest rooms, we have baby rooms. We don't have a study or office, we have a playroom!
Yes, you read correct, we now have a playroom.
My second trimester burst of energy hit this week and I started cleaning things out and trying to organize. What I realized is our study was a complete waste of space. I needed it when I needed to have a home office. Now that I stay at home, there's no real need for two desks full of junk. So, I went to work getting the important stuff to it's new home. Yes, we have a built-in desk.. why did we need a study in the first place? Oh, because we didn't have kids when we moved in. What else would you do with a room without a closet at the front of the house?
Anyway, I got everything cleaned out and Clark moved the desks into the garage. Which created an entire room for all the toys you can imagine. Walker is thrilled.
And, so is Mommy. It took me all of about 10 seconds to realize that I can close the french doors and keep him corralled. We had several hours of fun today without having to chase him to another room!
And, I'm adding a couple more pictures because Walker is just too cute.
His new favorite position is upside down:
My favorite thing about Walker's hair...
...you never know what it's going to look like when he wakes up!
