We just found out that our little darling is a girl and I already bought the crib! The first time around I had to do lots of research and I would pick something out, then take Clark back to look. This time Clark told me he didn't mind if I go ahead and take care of the details. So, the little darling ended up with a floor model.(gasp!) I got her a crib and a chest of drawers and spent less than half of what we spent on Walker. Does this make me a bad mother? The crib is exactly what I wanted and it's the same wonderful brand as Walker's furniture... it just happened to be cheap because it was on the floor. I feel okay with that!
Now it's time to get moving on her room... since the furniture was on the floor they want to get rid of it. Oops, I guess that means we need to start cleaning out!
Next topic.. the fact that she's actually a girl. I'm really excited, but it's kinda hard to get my head wrapped around it! For the last year and a half, I've only looked at boy clothes. Seriously, I walk into a baby store, go to the tiny boy section and look longingly over at the girl section, wishing I could shop over there. Don't get me wrong, I love to shop for Walker, but there's so much more for girls... I mean, there are ruffles and dresses and bows and pink and purple! So exciting. It just doesn't quite feel right that I actually get to walk over to all the frilly stuff and shop. I've looked, but haven't actually bought... yet.
But, Bunny has... how cute is this stuff?!?!
