I was a little worried before the party started... Walker decided he didn't want to take his morning nap. Seriously, why did he pick his party day as the day to NOT take a rest. I guess he could feel the excitement!!
His two cakes had already arrived! Of course that will make you excited.
And, balloons were all over the house.
So, even without the nap, Walker managed to focus and stay awake... barely.
I don't think the singing was his favorite, but the cake was a hit!
We were very happy that he enjoyed the cake...
And, honestly, he didn't get that messy! He loved the cake, but somehow kept it on his face and hands. (oh, and all down his clothes, but they went straight to the washing machine!)
And, the clean up wasn't that bad!
With a fresh set of clothes and a sugar high, it was time to open presents! Walker got lots of great new clothes and fun toys.
As always, he enjoyed playing with his cousins!
Whew, the party was officially a success. No nap, balloons, sugar high, sponge bath, presents and play time. What else could you ask for!
This is Walker "the morning after". What a great way to wake up.
