Six Months Old!

Seriously? Walker is six months old tomorrow? Doesn't seem possible. I don't remember our life before he was born, but it doesn't seem like he should be such a big boy either!

Each and every day brings a new adventure or milestone, dozens of smiles, a few cries and more joy than we could ever imagine!

Here's a quick six month update: Walker is sitting up on his own. Not crawling, but practicing a lot. He gets up on all fours and rocks.

His favorite veggies are green beans and squash. He's not a fan of sweet potatoes. His favorite fruits are bananas and the banana/apple/pear combo. He hates peaches.

Okay, so, I'm not going to go on and on about each milestone or moment... instead, Clark and I decided to give our top five favorites!

Me:
5. Hearing him when he likes a new food. He'll keep up the mmm mmms throughout the meal!
4. When he falls asleep on my shoulder. Will I ever get tired of that?!?!?
3. Getting compliments EVERYWHERE we go! I love that strangers say sweet things about my boy.
2. Watching him learn new things... He's very into the ring stacker these days. Oh, and he's very interested in Remy! So cute.
1. Going into Walker's room each morning to see his precious toothless grin. He's always so happy and ready to start the day.

Clark:
5. Watching him start to reach for, grab and play with things.....with his LEFT hand!! (Is it too soon to start teaching him a curve ball and change up?)
4. That he loves to sit and listen to the waterfall on the pool and feel the wind blow through his hair (looks like he may be a beach person).
3. Listening to him have a good belly-laugh while we're playing with him.
2. Hearing one of those new sounds that makes you grin from ear to ear and think 'I wonder what he's thinking and trying to say with that sound?'.
1. No matter how bad the day was at work, when he sees me walk in the door and smiles big the way he does....it makes you pretty much forget it all.

disclaimer -- this list could be really, really long... that's why we had to limit it or we would never stop!!!
