The First Wood Family Vacation

How fun! The Wood family just got back from the Texas Hill Country! Walker was an amazing little traveler and seemed to have a blast. He got to stay in a hotel for the first time, meet new people and see new places!

Guess what the top priority was...

Yep, Clark wanted to show Walker the UT tower.

I love this picture... I can just hear Clark saying, "Walker this is where you will go in 18 years."

Now I've got to hurry and take Walker to Fort Worth so I can show him TCU!

After the campus tour we took Walker to the Oasis... he didn't love it. He got a little too hot, so we didn't stay long, but got to enjoy a little of the sunset and lake views.

The next day we hit Lampasas and Walker got to meet Aunt Connie and his great grandmother, Memaw.

After that, it was back to Austin to spend some time with Frosty and Linda. He loved their backyard and it didn't take long for Frosty to start teaching him things... lesson number one, how to make a fist. Frosty doesn't want him making a fist like a "girl"!

Then it was off to Fredricksburg! Walker was a fantastic little shopper and we had a great few hours there.

Our little monkey had to spend many, many hours in that car seat, but he was so good! Very few fits and lots of smiles and laughs. That's a great combination! I can't wait to plan our next trip!
