Hippity Hop

I can't believe it has taken me a WEEK to blog about Easter.  We had a fantastic time at Bunny and RayRay's.  Uncle Googie, Aunt Trisha, Savannah, Carson and Ryder were there.  Walker and Everly had a blast!!!
Walker and Gabby decided to become friends!  He took her for a walk.

Classic!

Matching Cousins!  This was not planned.

Happy girl!

She wants to stand ALL THE TIME!

Hunting Eggs!  They had money inside!  Walker opened them and gave the money back to Bunny!

Cheese!

Everly and Walker with their cousins!

Walker and Daddy.  They are both so handsome!

Our attempt at a family photo!

From 15 to 10-months!  Cute grandkids with Bunny and RayRay.

We Love Spring

We didn't do anything special this weekend, but it was such a great weekend.  I love spending time with my family... especially when the weather is fantastic.

Today we took Walker and Everly to the Waterway to play in the fountains.  Walker wasn't sure about this concept at first.
He thought it looked cool, but wasn't sure if he was allowed to play!  He kept running from the water.  But, it didn't take long for him to realize he could go wild!

But, then the fun had to stop.... the wind kicked up and it was too cold to stay wet.  Someone wasn't happy with that plan.
But, he rallied.  We went to eat pizza and Walker enjoyed the meal so much... he decided to pick up the bill!
Everly was with us.... I promise!  She had a great time watching her brother play in the water and she enjoyed eating cheerios at dinner!
Such a fun weekend.  Have I mentioned that I love spending time with my sweet family?  So blessed.

Middle-Aged Prom

Clark and I went out on a real fancy date night.

Yep, that's Clark in a tux and me in a long dress!  I thought our wedding was the last time you would see us this fancy!  But, no... we got to go to the Houston Opera Ball.  It was a really fun night.  My favorite part.... looking at all the other people. Lots of amazing dresses, purses, shoes and plastic surgery!

Hopefully we will get invited again next year... do you think anyone will actually remember the purple dress?

Thanks to Bunny and RayRay for keeping the kids.  Seriously, the best part about the whole thing.... the kids spent the night in Bentwater, which means Clark and I got to sleep until 9!!!  Amazing.

Boy DNA

I can't believe I'm about to blog about this... but, I just have to, because I want to remember how funny my two-year old boy really is.

What is it with boys and tooting and burping???  Seriously, WHY and HOW does Walker know that it's hilarious to toot?  I swear, Clark and I didn't laugh at him or make a big deal out of his toots... but, now, HE does!  While it is gross, it is kinda funny, too.  He does it on purpose now then starts laughing hysterically.  Which makes us laugh.

Vicious cycle!
I thought this picture fit the post!

The Girlie Girl!

This title should be... "Hoping for a Girlie Girl". I clipped Everly's toenails today.

I decided to continue with the next step....

Bluebonnets!

We did a very fun Texas activity today... took pictures of the kids in a bluebonnet patch!  Of course, we didn't get the perfect "Everly and Walker both smiling and looking at the camera" picture.  But, we did end up with some cute ones!!!

Happy Spring.

Not smiling, but still cute.

Walker running away.

Sweet, sweet girl!

Handsome boy!

Love that little grin.

Finally a little laughter!

Playing with BIG Toys!

I continue to tell the readers of WoodWords that Everly is getting more and more wild.  She literally does something new everyday.

She is an official crawler now... and, it getting into everything!  In order to keep her entertained, we keep bringing out new toys!

She loves being a big girl!

Yeah for the circus train!

I'm not sure why, but the entry way is where Everly wants to be.... Walker is good with it.  He doesn't care where he is as long as he gets to entertain her!
